As Chairman of the APBA, I am delighted to welcome you to our growing community, dedicated to advancing the polyurethane industry across Asia. Our association is built on a foundation of collaboration, innovation, and shared knowledge, with a clear focus on promoting the use of PU foam as a superior alternative to traditional materials.
At APBA, we are committed to encouraging cooperation across the entire PU foam supply chain, from raw material suppliers to end-users. We believe in the power of shared, non-competitive knowledge to drive our industry forward and to enhance the safety, health, and environmental care standards throughout the supply chain.
We also serve as a critical counterpart for local and regional legislators, ensuring that the interests and concerns of our industry are well-represented. As a knowledge platform, APBA provides our members with various benefits such as access to the latest technologies, legislation, research, and quality standards, all while championing sustainability and the circular economy within the PU industry.

The Asian Polyurethane Business Association (APBA) aims to be a platform for the polyurethane industry on a pan-Asian base in close cooperation with existing country-specific Polyurethane (PU) Associations, hereby bridging the efforts to connect and explore opportunities for the PU industry.
APBA focuses on the needs and requirements of polyurethane industries related to flexible and rigid polyurethanes, molding, casting, adhesives, and coatings. The applications include furniture & bedding, automotive seating and interiors, building & construction, refrigeration, insulation, footwear, cast wheels, rollers, adhesives, coatings, and sealants.
The main objectives of the APBA are
By connecting members on a vertical base as well as on a geographical level, APBA stands to promote the PU industry and support it’s growth and professionalism.
Committees/Working Groups:
APBA will have various committees or working groups dealing with specific aspects of the PU industry, such as technical standards, regulations, market development, etc. Members can voluntarily participate in the following working groups based on their expertise and interest.
Secretariat:
This is APBA's operational body responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization. The secretariat is responsible for communication with members, organization of meetings, implementation of decisions, lobbying, and so on. It is headed by a secretary-general.
